How to setup L2TP VPN on Windows 10

Here you will find a detailed guide for setting up VPN connection by L2TP protocol on Windows 10 operating system. All you need is to repeat the following steps in your system. Simply complete all the actions as shown in the pictures.

Right click on your Lan / Wi-Fi icon from system tray and click on Network settings.

Choose VPN and click on Add a VPN-connection.

Insert accounting data: To complete select Remember my sign-in info and click Save.

Important Note: VPN servers list, your VPN username and password are in the file readme.txt (was sent to your email after ordering the subscription).

To connect select just created configuration and click on Connect.

VPN connection will be established in few seconds. To break VPN connection click on Disconnect.

To setup the outgoing IP open the http://setup.securevpnconnect.net when VPN-connection is active. Select the IP address you need and click the green check mark. The address is changed instantly, and the next time you connect to the VPN, the previously set address will be used.

To adjust additional parameters of VPN connection for increased level of security, select Change adapter options.

In appeared window right click on created connection and to select Properties.

On Security tab to select data encryption type - Maximum strength encryption (disconnect if server declines).

On Networking tab uncheck items Internet Protocol version 6 and File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks.
